This picture was taken after Jeff had completed his 7.4 mile leg uphill to the summit of Avon pass. He did a great job, I was so proud of him. I am sure glad I didn't have to run that leg.
Jeff sure got a lot of grief for wearing that shirt. People along the course would cheer. "Good job", "keep it up", "except for the BYU guy." So he finally turned his shirt inside out.
I was in a van full of boys and this is the only picture they took of me. I guess that's about what you can expect from a bunch of guys. Lets take her picture at 3:30am after she has run her third and final leg and most likely will look like crap. Just kidding guys! I had a blast in my van.Team Captain: Kristin Scheer
We ranged in age from 14 to 30
Kari also had a team and we finally got to meet up at the finish line. We kept trying to find each other from the starting line and it just never happened until the finish. The race started in Logan and finished in Park City, 180 miles of pure insanity. I guess it was only insane if you started running 2 1/2 weeks prior to the race....oh who is that stupid you might ask? It is me! Well I actually had a bit of an excuse for that kind of stupidity. Whitney was going to run my leg for me and then June 2nd she broke her toe so I had to get in gear and start running. The race took place June 20th and 21st.

Good job Amber!! Our whole team had to drop out at the last minute due to injuries and not being able to find replacements. It was really a bummer. $1200 down the drain. We just try not to think about that part. I can't believe that Jeff got so much grief for wearing that shirt. People are mean.
I'm so sad that you won't be able to come to the reunion. Do you really think that Costa Rica will be more fun than a 10 year class reunion? Haha! Have fun! I'm totally jealous.
CONGRATULATIONS JEFF AND THE FAMILY ON THE NEW JOB POSITION==WE HAVE BEEN READING THE NEWPAPER AND HOPING YOU WOULD GET IT!!! So, good luck with everything, maybe we will see you on the fourth!!
Good Job! Looks like you had a great time! What new job is this that some else is mentioning???
YOU ROCK! We should get a team of Ricks girls sometime. Your story about the only picture of you was hilarious! BTW - you look awesome!
You guys are so ambitious! Good job! That is awesome! I don't think I could run after training for 2 1/2 weeks. Heck, I coudln't run if I trained for a year. You guys amaze me!
You guys are awesome. We can't wait til you get back so we can go on a bike ride again...& Carver is gonna go into permanent depression if Ammon doesn't turn up soon--he goes & knocks on the patio door at least twice a day looking for his buddy.
Hi guys! What a fun blog! This is Stephanie (Hansen) Chambers- we just did the Ragnar relay too, and it was crazy! Too bad we didn't run into each other. What is up with the BYU shirt Jeff? :)
Ambi-you make me proud. Way to run woman!
Oh Jeff. . .you're a brave man for wearing a BYU shirt! I burned all BYU memorabilia shortly after my Weber State freshman year! You know it's one of the Wildcat unforgivable sins!
It's good to get an update on you guys! We've kinda lost touch with people since we moved to the Northwest.
Check out our blog. . .we have 4 girls now! If you're ever up in Eugene, give us a jingle!
