ONE BOY! ONE GIRL!

We had our 20 week ultrasound today and discovered we are getting one boy and one girl. We had fun watching them. The boy (giving the peace sign) kept giving his sister elbows to the head. You can see in this picture he has his elbow on her head and she is looking away from us. Most of the time she tried to hit him back and protect her face. I think she is going to be scrappy! After we watched him give her about 20 elbows to the head, he decided to flash his peace sign to let us know he was just playing. It was pretty funny. We also got to watch as baby boy's bum was right on his sister's face. She kept putting her arms over her face so she didn't have to look at his bum...I don't blame her. Anyway everything looked really good and we are really excited!

HOORAY 4 HALLOWEEN

"Mom let me do it myself!"
Ammon got to go to the ISU Athlete trunk or treat on Wednesday night. He had a great time and all the athletes spoiled him with lots of candy.

These two crazy nerds had a great time carving pumpkins together. I couldn't get one picture of them smiling together, but I have about ten pics of them pulling dorky faces.

AMMON'S ANNOUNCEMENT

YES IT'S TRUE--AND WE ARE EXPECTING. . . . TWO!!!
I am currently at 13 weeks and going strong...I mean sick, although I couldn't be any more excited. Ammon is also very excited; when the Doctor asked him what he wanted to name the babies he said "Charlie & Lola!" I hope he isn't too disappointed when we name them differently.
Jeff here: I too am excited . . . and happy to help Amber eat for three. This will bring a lot of change to our little family, but we are excited about the prospects of getting no sleep (less than what we are getting now). Ammon is really excited, although he continues to ask us why he can't see them now. So bring on Phoebe and Phoebo!!!

NOW THAT SUMMER IS OVER...HERE'S WHAT HAPPENED

Cadence was in a violent battle with a large kidney stone so my mom picked up me and Ammon and we headed to Boise to take care of her because Ben was at high adventure with his young men. She was scheduled for surgery so we were going to help her with the kids and food. Well about an hour before the surgery out comes the culprit and we ended up having a blast that weekend.
Yes, that is exactly what you think it is! Easton (Cadence's son) pooped all over my white shorts at the farmers market. So as I scurry to get out of the crowded market paths he decides to spit up all over my shirt and arm. After cleaning up I had to run to a store and buy me some jeans.
Here is a great mother at work. While Ammon and Chole (Wendy's girl) are rock climbing I decide to take a photo; meanwhile my child is falling off the rock. Good thing Wendy was there to rescue him. MY BAD!

This is the only picture I could get of these three wild kiddos sitting still. We were at this awesome park for two hours and I could only get one picture of them sitting still. Chloe is my favorite little girl because she is so tough. She loves to play with the boys because she can always hold her own.
HELMET HAIR!
They were both so proud of their helmet hair. They asked me to take their picture. So here ya go boys!

Kurt is at Dental School in Vegas so when he comes to visit the family it is a given that we will be going water skiing. So one evening Jeff, Ammon, Tanner, Kristy and Kurt and I went the lake. As you can tell Ammon was having a great time watching his Dad, Uncle's and Aunt Kristy.

I didn't really get any good photo's of Jeff and Kurt skiing because well they were skiing in the dark. I love to watch both of them ski, I think they are amazing!

Jeff having some fun.

Kristy skiing at dusk.

Ammon and I did a lot of farming this year. As you can tell he takes he job very serious.

Papa asked him to go pick rocks, he came back with a load of dirt "rocks" he was sure proud of his work. I hope he soon figures out what a real rock is so that I don't have to pick rocks any more.
He wanted to get ready for hunting season. Still a bit small but it was cute to watch him try.

COSTA RICA

Jeff after an exciting decent through the fog!
Me coming into one of the 8 platforms. On this particular zip line you could reach speeds of up to 50 mph...to add to the thrill the fog was so thick we couldn't see anything...it was amazing!
Here is a shot of all of us including our guides and a young boy from Costa Rica.
Tanner rocked the boogie board! The boys had a blast on the rope swing.
I was having a good time too!
Jeff got thirsty and decided to take a sip out of the La Fortuna waterfall.
I had a scary trip getting down to La Fortuna waterfall...you are lucky to see a smile on my face. As we were hiking down through the thick jungle, someone told us to beware of a dangerous snake on the trail. I instantly had a panic attack and luckily Jean was there to calm me down. Not only did she calm me down but she went and stood by the snake to block it from me. Jeff was not to happy with his mom...He had to yell at her to get her away from the snake. I still can't believe she did that for me. Thanks Jean!

Jeff you need some color!
Jeff and Taylor going surfing. Brandon and Kristy also surfed and they all did quite well.
This is our private beach at the Punta Leona Resort
Family shot at Tabacon Hot Springs. This is the resort we stayed at the first two nights. The hot springs were amazing. It was defiantly one of the most beautiful and relaxing places on earth. We were able to choose from waterfalls, large pools, small pools with built in lounges, little waterfalls, and cozy tubs hidden the tropical rain forest.
Tabacon resort saw this picture and they want to put it on their website. They say the two hot gals make the hot springs more appealing.

RAGNAR RELAY

This picture was taken after Jeff had completed his 7.4 mile leg uphill to the summit of Avon pass. He did a great job, I was so proud of him. I am sure glad I didn't have to run that leg.
Jeff sure got a lot of grief for wearing that shirt. People along the course would cheer. "Good job", "keep it up", "except for the BYU guy." So he finally turned his shirt inside out.

I was in a van full of boys and this is the only picture they took of me. I guess that's about what you can expect from a bunch of guys. Lets take her picture at 3:30am after she has run her third and final leg and most likely will look like crap. Just kidding guys! I had a blast in my van.

The Anchors
Team Captain: Kristin Scheer
We ranged in age from 14 to 30

Kari also had a team and we finally got to meet up at the finish line. We kept trying to find each other from the starting line and it just never happened until the finish. The race started in Logan and finished in Park City, 180 miles of pure insanity. I guess it was only insane if you started running 2 1/2 weeks prior to the race....oh who is that stupid you might ask? It is me! Well I actually had a bit of an excuse for that kind of stupidity. Whitney was going to run my leg for me and then June 2nd she broke her toe so I had to get in gear and start running. The race took place June 20th and 21st.

HAPPY 30th ANNIVERSARY

This picture marks the day of Mom and Dads 30th Anniversary. Baby Easton was also blessed on this day. Mom and Dad raised three feisty girls and now they have 3 energetic grandsons. We know we must have been a handful to take care of, but you endured the many years of hair pulling, biting, screaming and what other trouble three girls can cause. We are grateful you raised us to work hard and enjoy life. We are so glad you fell in LOVE many, many, many, many years ago. We have enjoyed all the fun times we have shared together over the years and look forward to many more great times. Thanks for always supporting us!
Love,
Jeff, Amber, Ammon, Buzz, Cadence, Ben, Bryson & Easton

Mom and Dad 30 years ago. Sorry the picture is so blurry...I am not really a computer nerd so I don't know how to fix it.

THE BIG 3-0

We surprised Jeff at work with some yummy cupcakes...I hope he doesn't eat all those himself!

Jeff is applauding our beautiful song. Becky, Brandon, Kristy, Ammon and myself all performed Happy Birthday...it was an award winning performance.

Ammon sure loves his Dad.

Jeff finally got new Mt. biking shoes!

Boys and their toys! Jeff just had to try out his new pedals and shoes. Ammon's in the background trying to follow Jeff around the neighborhood. He is actually getting pretty fast. Jeff wanted a dutch oven cobbler for his birthday...I refuse to show a picture of the cobbler because I burnt the top. Luckily is still tasted good.

Happy Birthday Jeff!

WE LOVE YOU!

CHECK OUT THE SHOES

I would just like to make mention that I finally got to help someone get dressed up for a fancy event. We all know that it is usually me that everyone has to help. I feel like I never get to contribute to anyone. Well that all changed for me when my beautiful cousin tried on her prom dress for me. The dress was absolutely stunning but they were worried about finding a shoe for the dress. Just joking around I told everyone I had the perfect shoe for such a dress. When I grabbed the shoes I thought everyone was going to laugh at me...like usual. Instead the response of me finding the perfect shoe was overwhelming. Yahoo!...I finally helped!

SISSY & THE BOYS

Cadence had another boy! Easton Sid Blaser was born on April 30. I finally get to see him for the first time tomorrow. I can't wait! Whitney and Mom you had better stay away from him this weekend because it is my turn to hang with baby goosey goose!

GRIZZWOLD'S WEDDING

Whitney took a great photo of Ammon, Tori and Jackson while they were hanging out in the waiting room at the Salt Lake Temple.

I thought Ammon and Jeff looked really good in this photo. To bad I lost the battle with the bright sun.

MAY 1st

What a beauty!!!

Best Buddies

Last night Heidi and I planned to go on a bike ride with the kids in the morning. When I woke up a 6:00 and looked out the window I knew the bike ride was out of the question. We decided to go outside and have some fun anyway, even though we had already put the snow clothes away. We dug out our gear and had a blast!
