BEAR LAKE IN JULY

Kristy and I took the kids out in the boat on a warm sunny afternoon. We were having a great time playing in the water and relaxing in the boat. The kids and Kristy were playing in the water while the winds were starting to pick up. Before we knew it...chaos began! Ammon's tube blew away so I got to the front of the boat and snatched it before the wind took it away. Meanwhile Kristy, Burklee, and Ammon were getting further away from the boat and Ammon began to panic. Kellan was in a tube tied to the boat so I assumed he was safe and dove in after Ammon. After reaching Ammon I looked up and realized the boat was getting pushed pretty fast by the wind. Kellan's tube was leaning back and I could just picture him getting flipped upside down. Then I started to panic. I looked back at Kristy and she had the same look of panic on her face so I yelled to Kris to grab Ammon. I took off swimming as hard and as fast as I could for the boat to rescue Kellan before he and the boat got out of reach. I finally got there completely exhausted. I got him out of the tube and into the boat. Meanwhile Kristy had Ammon holding her leg while she swam for the boat. She had instructed Ammon to hold on the Burklee's tube. They all made it to the boat. Once they were in the boat we all took a deep breath and could finally relax for a minute before we decided to get the boat out of the water. It was quite the adventure!

Kellan sporting his glasses while having lunch on the beach. He got quite a few looks.

The boys enjoyed their sand toys. I do not know how they were able to sit on that hot sand.

Relaxing with Aunt Kris

We love going to Bear Lake. It is so relaxing and not to mention beautiful. Wish we could go more often.
