KIDS PHOTO SHOOT

This was one crazy photo shoot. I am pretty sure our photographer was ready to kick us out after three minutes. I know I was ready to scream after two minutes because my kids were not cooperating. Burklee would not leave any hair accessories on, she was fussy and out of control. Kellan was fussy and his pants were way to big and they kept falling off. Poor Ammon got neglected and we later realized he had food on his face and a booger in his nose. To top it off the twins got in a huge fight and then it went downhill from there. With all the chaos we were lucky to get a few good shots.

Burklee pulls this face all the time and I LOVE IT!

THIS SUMS IT UP

Look at the mess this dang cell phone caused....

Burklee tries to take the phone away....

Kellan gets super ticked and goes in for the head-butt....

he knocks her to the ground....

fight ends...nobody is happy!

could it get any worse....

I think this sums it up!

FRIEND PARTY
So I tried to be fancy this year and make a cool cake and I realized two things:
#1 I DO NOT have enough patience to make a fun cake
#2 I do not have skills in the cake department

(Kari...I don't know how you do it)

Birthday Boy trying to bust open the fire truck.

The fire department showed up and surprised the kids.
They all go to go on a little ride in the truck. They all had such a great time. I even got to go on a ride because the girls wouldn't go without me. It was pretty cool!

FAMILY PARTY

Lovin his new bike
FYI...the football jersey he is wearing was mine back in the day (oh how I loved Dan Marino).

(this cake looked much better about 10 minutes prior to this photo)
His favorite gift....Mario P.J.'s

ONE WILD AND CRAZY MARCH

We started off the month by traveling to Arizona with the softball team.
You may ask why this child is coloring when there is a warm and inviting swimming pool right next to him. Ammon decided he didn't like water...nice timing boy. I enjoyed the pool while he worked on staying in the lines.

Ammon and I enjoying the warm weather and some softball.

While we were in Arizona I got to celebrate my birthday by going to Jeff's favorite place...I'm not bitter at all!

Jeff helping out the team during warm-ups.

Next stop...Washington.
We traveled to Cheney to watch the Women's Big Sky Basketball Tourny.
Talk about a super nice hotel! Equipped with fancy cribs and a shower that was top notch.

Ammon decided he likes swimming now...and now we can't get him out of the pool. The babies both enjoyed it too.

Kell's and Jeff having a blast together.

We had to turn off all the lights and quietly sit by the door so the babies would go to sleep. Well, here is a good way to keep us quiet. Might I add we are currently competing against each other in a 12 week exercise challenge...shows how motivated and dedicated we are.

Let's not forget about St. Patrick's Day.
Yummy!

And...I headed off to New York!
I went with Kristy, Tanner and Jean to see Becky, Brandon & Caden.
Of course we had to go see Dr. Oz (He's my favorite)!

One awesome show! LOVED IT!

Out for a stroll at night over the Brooklyn Bridge. It was so beautiful!

Back Home...
I started off standing and ended up rolling and sliding down the hill. It wasn't pretty by any means.

Kristy working on her tan.

The boys deep in conversation.
I think that caps off the month of March.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Burklee & Kellan are already ONE!
Talk about the fastest year of my life...wow!

Ready to blow out the candles.

Trying out their new swing. Kellan wasn't so sure about it.

Aunt Kristy feeding Kellan his cake in the living room.
One year old + chocolate cake = huge mess on the carpet!
Next year we are having their party at Kristy's house :)

Hers Pretty!
She loves to eat just like her mom.

RECENT PICS

She literally bounced like a crazy baby until she zonked out!

Poor Burks...good thing she has a girl cousin on the way.

(Thanks Adella)

Baby Kell's first haircut! Jeff and Ammon didn't want him to feel bad for losing all his hair so they offered to get butched too!

He got a transformer shaving kit for Christmas and I am pretty sure he has shaved everyday since.

HOW MUCH FUN.....

can you cram into three days? Well, I think we managed to fill every moment with something exciting. In early December we took off for sunny (I mean rainy) California for several reasons: See old friends, ISU @ USC (men's basketball), Natural History Museum and Disneyland! We landed around noon and went straight to the Natural History Museum because Ammon is so captivated by Dinosaurs. Right when we walked in Ammon noticed the very massive T-Rex. It was so much fun to see him take it all in. After we spent several hours there we headed to Todd and Megan's place and picked up Todd. We all went and had a nice dinner in the bay. We felt bad enjoying a delicious meal while Megan was in the middle of a 36-hour shift. The next day we left early and went to Disneyland and ran from ride to ride trying to maximize our time. Did I mention it was pouring rain! We actually were so grateful for the rain because it really thinned out the crowds. We really didn't have to wait in any lines. We left in the evening and met Todd and Megan at the basketball game. We had a great time chatting and watching basketball. Ammon made it up on the video board and we learned he is quite the entertainer. He busted out his favorite moves from Madagascar II. After the game we all went to eat at this strange but really good restaurant (Rosco's Chicken and Waffles). Saturday brought more rain and fewer people at Disneyland and California Adventure. It was so awesome to run around and act like a kid and not care about getting wet. We spent the entire day at the parks and capped it off with a great dinner at Goofy's Kitchen. We are so grateful to Todd and Megan for letting us stay. We really enjoyed every minute. Thanks for everything!

Ammon, Jeff and T-Rex

Ammon loved Splash Mountain! Lucky for us it was pouring rain so we were able to stay on the ride. It was great!

It's amazing what a piece of $1 dollar plastic can do.

Ammon and Goofy having a deep conversation about Mac and cheese, hot dogs and pizza. Ammon was so grateful that all his favorite foods were on his plate at the same time.

This picture says so much about our trip. He was having an absolute blast. He figured out that instead of waiting in line to hug the characters he could just run up and give a quick hug as we would pass by. In this picture he had just pulled that very trick.

The twins stayed home so we made sure to get them something cute.
